Although we have topics and talkers for the next couple of meetings, I would like to get further ahead and plan to the end of the year. If there is something that you would really like to see, then mention it here, no matter what the topic, if there is enough interest in a topic then I will ensure that we find a speaker for it and have it put into the future plan.

I am happy to hear feedback from any member on any subject, not just topics, so if you would like to relay something to me and not include it here in the forum, then please email me at jeff at allthingsweb.com.au

Here's a few in different streams:

BEGINNER

1. Crash Course on the basics of administering a Joomla website
2. Our users share what extensions they recommend for all kinds of sites
3. Showcase - how we all use Joomla
4. Security Essentials for Joomla

LIGHTNING TALKS ON VARIOUS EXTENSIONS

1. Akeeba Backup
2. AdminTools
3. RSForms
4. LOGman
5. Using Watchful to manage multiple sites
6. Advanced Module Manager
7. Basic security
8. Perfect Everywhere in Everyway module
9. Competition Manager (our own free in house raffle and prize draw component)
10. Using JCE editor to edit images in articles
11. Using ACYMailing to run newsletters
12. Using RS Forms with Mailchimp to subscribe to newsletters
13. Creating an article with content that changes automatically at a certain date and/or time.

INTERMEDIATE to ADVANCED

1. Is your Joomla site ready for PHP7? And why should you use it?
2. Using secondary menus (and maintaining neat URLS)
3. Using RSForms! Pro & it's SQL mapping plugin to create articles via a form.

Hope this helps - I have some material already on most of these and happy to host or present whenever the group sees fit.
