Our Presenter:
Nathan is the owner of Snaffle, a Melbourne based consultancy specialising in Joomla website development since 2004 when it was called something else we won't mention. He also dabbles in Wordpress and a SAS called Khoros for enterprise level communities. In his limited spare time he's partial to a bit of PS4 action and listening to overly loud heavy music.
Topic Overview:
In recent years Nathan has found himself working on membership or subscription based websites. After an initial dabble with the now defunct AEC, he's settled on Membership Pro from JoomDonation as his tool of choice for selling subscriptions, managing subscribers and providing ACL based access to website resources.
In this Virtual JUG we'll take deep dive in to the setup of subscription plans in Membership Pro, the management of subscribers, the various plugins available for integration with other Joomla components such as AcyMailing and a look at how it integrates with the core Joomla ACL to manage access to content and resources.
