The term "Committee" will refer to the 2020 Joomla Australia Site Awards Committee. There will be a corum of at least three members to make decisions.
The term "Competition" will refer to the 2020 Joomla Australia Site Awards Competition.
The term "Judging Panel" will refer to five international Joomla community members with no conflicting interests with Australian Joomla community members.
By entering the Competition, participants accept the following Terms and Conditions.
- Entry into the Competition is free.
- One Winner and one Runner-up will be announced for each of the following awards:
- Best Community Site
- Best E-Commerce Site
- Best Marketing Site
- Best Blog Site
- Best Informational Site
- Finalists of the above awards will be published on the Joomla Australia website inviting votes for a People’s Choice Winner.
- You may submit more than one entry, however only one entry is permitted per participant/agency per category.
- By entering the competition, participants/agencies delare that their entry is a project to which they have significantly contributed.
- The entry has been developed by aparticipant/agency that is located within Oceania*.
- All content on the website is appropriate for all ages and is not in violation of the Code of Conduct.
- Entries must submit to brief audits of eligibility if requested by the Committee.
- Winners will:
- be published on the Joomla Australia website and associated social media channels
- receive a trophy and framed certificate
- earn digital badges for the entry and the participant/agency to promote at their own discretion.
- Finalists will:
- be published on the Joomla Australia website and associated social media channels
- receive a framed certificate
- earn digital badges for the entry and the participant/agency to promote at their own discretion.
- Five judges from outside of Oceania will be elected by the Committee to review entries. The Committee will support the panel of judges but will not influence the judges' decisions.
- The decisions of the Committee and Judging Panel regarding eligibility and entry evaluation is final and binding.
- The Committee reserves the right to disqualify any participants who are deemed to have breached any of these conditions.
- Participants agree to permit the Committee to use their entry details for publication and competition purposes.
* The region of "Oceania" for this Competition includes and is limited to Australia, Papua New Guinea, New Zealand, Fiji, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Samoa, Kiribati, Tonga, Micronesia, Marshall Islands, Palau, Tuvalu, Nauru, Cook Islands, Niue and Tokelau.
